How to Re-Open Previously Opened Windows At Logon in Windows 7
Many a times, you may want to open some folders every time when you log on to your computer. Or, maybe due to some problems, you were computer shut down abruptly. In these situations, you can easily reopen all the opened tabs from your previous session using this simple windows feature. Here’s how to do it:
- Open any folder. Press ‘Alt’ button to get the menu bar on top.
- In that go to “Folder Options”, under “Tools” .
- Under the “View” tab, check the option “Reopen previously opened folders”.

- Click “Apply” and “OK”.
That’s it. The next time you switch on your computer, these folders will automatically open for you. In my opinion, this feature can be a little annoying. AFAIK, I don’t see much of a need to keep folders always open. However I do think that it can be handy when there are frequent power cuts.
