How To Enable Autofilling In URL Bars In Firefox (Like In Chrome)

Google Chrome is a very light browser that the “speedophilic” Google has launched. Even though it is light and fast, still most people don’t like it because of the features lacking in it. But still some features like Omnibar, autofilling and its easy switching of tabs are really good that you would really like to get those on your browser. Now here is a little trick to implement the autofilling of the tabs option in Firefox.

Now, to do this as you might have guessed you need to go to the firefox den, I mean about:config editor. (To do this, tap in the following words in the address bar wihout quotes. “about:config”). After this, click on the “I’ll be careful, I promise” button and enter into the den.

There in the filter section, type in “autofill”. You will get a list of strings that contain “autofill” keyword. Now after this select, the following string: browser.urlbar.autoFill. Change the value to true and your job is done.
autofill firefox.
Restart Firefox and you must be seeing the auto-filling of the urlbar like in Google Chrome.(Like in the picture shown above.) Note that it happens to the sites that you visit very often
