Widgets are of great importance as it enhances the look of the blogs. But it’s unfortunate that all the widgets are not available in Blogger or WordPress. Thus, it becomes necessary for us to depend on the third-party apps like netvibes and many others.

Netvibes is a great site for creating your own attractive AJAX pages with widgets on the web. Most of us get lured by the great widgets that it has and also the beautiful look it has. Nowadays, I have seen many blogs using these Netvibes widgets as themes. Now, here is a tutorial of how to add those widgets to your blog.

It’s a little tricky to add those widgets on to your blog. So, I thought I would write this post as many people would be searching for it . Here is the way.

It is rather tricky because it cannot be done straightaway. You can only add the widgets to your netvibes page and not on any other page. Go to Netvibes Ecosystem. Search for the widgets you want and then, click on the link to go to the widget details as shown in the picture.

In the landed page, click on the share button. Select the preferences for you widget aand copy the code. That is it.

I am still trying to figure out how to make a simple Netvibes widget for my blogs (much like Bloggers, Bloglovin etc), that will link back to Netvibes.
If that was a VIP-only option it would be absurd, since this way there is mutual
linking. The way I have it now is one sided, only from Netvibes to my blogs and not vice versa :s
